I'm helping a couple of members of the Razorback Club of Tulsa organize our watch parties In Tulsa and we are trying to find a good sports bar to host our events.
I would like to find a place that has great food along with good drink specials and with comfortable seating and plenty of TV's
I have a good idea on which sports bars we may use but I would like to hear other people's opinions and experiences on the subject.
SOCO at 81st and Harvard.....no smoke
The Brook if the stench of pee is not too bad....
Fox and Hound.....
Sidelines.....
Fox and Hound is probably the best. Tons of TVs and good viewing angles. Kind of pricey though.
The Brook is also good.
I do not recommend Sidelines. They have bands on weekend nights and their TVs and food are both substandard.
Fox and Hound is a great place, except for all the smokers. Great food.
Sidelines is fair. Not the most comfortable.
Louie's is great, with no smoking. Good Food.
Indigo Joe's has more TVs then anyone and great atmosphere. Food is good. Home of the 34 oz beer.
The Brook is good. Go to the south Brook for no smoking. Excellent food.
I would not go to SoCos. Have tried that place twice and the food was horrible both times. Won't be back.
When are we going to be invited to Wilbur's bar?
I'd have to say Louie's at 101st and sheridan is very overlooked. The bar in the car wash is quite unique.
Louie's is my parent's new favorite restaurant.
I hear the Joe Momma's downtown will be a great place to watch games. Though not by definition a sports bar, it will feature more TVs than you will ever need and the largest screen in town for watching sports. Mmmmm. I can't wait.
There will be a bar with a very nice selection of quality premium beers as well as popular domestic brands...including PBR and High Life.
Shameless plug over.
You know what bothers me, sure you can watch 10 different things at a time but there is no audio, Someone needs to come up with a audio system at the table that you could pick for the TV you are watching.

I plan on watching many games there. No good sports bars anywhere near downtown other than the brook, and that's too far to stumble home from.
I hope you'll have the sports packages or at least all the different regional sports networks. Any bar that will allow me to watch some random out of market sporting event is a favorite bar of mine.

Indigo Joe's will give you a table speaker for any game you are watching on any of their tvs. Kind of cool.
On major sporting events, Louie's and Joe's will turn on the audio through the entire building.
Also I am sure that if you call and let them know what you are doing and bring in X $$$ they will do anything you want them to do!
Louie's at 101st and sheridan is A++

I actually went to the Fox and Hound to watch the Arkansas-Auburn fiasco last year and while it was nice enough, OU was playing at the same time and all the TVs but one were on the OU game, and you couldn't pay attention to the game you were watching because of all the OU fans commotion. Speaking of OU fans, I noticed that day they were cheering every time their team punted. "Good punt boys!" When my team punts, I certainly don't cheer.

Awesome. Let us know where you decide to have it as I don't have cable (a poor value considering most TV is unwatchable) and I'll be looking for a friendly environ to watch Hog games.
We'll have the packages and will even have a private room that will seat as many as 50. We'll have TVs and and pull down screen in that room and will be able to turn up the sound to accommodate.
I'm not a U of A alumni, but I went to JBU right up 412 and dated more than a couple Arkansas sorority girls....I've even dressed up in a blazer and yelled "pig sooie!" at a few football games.
I'd love to have you guys out if you're interested.
from the sounds of it Indigo Joe's kicks donkey. They have been throwing coupons at me, I guess I need to check it out.
Fox and Hound sux.....unless you want to go get second hand smoke cancer. Epic FAIL.

I live in the same area as you do and Indigo Joes has not thrown me any coupons.
And by the way, I have been there a few times and this place does rock. Great TVs, segregated bar and dining area (family friendly), pretty decent wings, large portions of pub and dinner meals, and, yes, gigantic beers. I think this place will really get going once the 66ers move in right behind.
Sports Fan Attic has opened up a sports bar next to their regular store at the Farm. I've only been once not long after they just opened and, shall we say, were going through some 'just opened' pains. Has potential.

We will definitly stop by to have a few cold one's and check it out.
Buffalo Wild Wings in Broken Arrow is pretty good. They've got the segregated smoking area (glassed in). They have plenty of big screens and a trivia network.
I thought I heard a Buffalo Wild Wings will be going into the new Tulsa Hill center in late summer or early fall.
There is a Buffalo Wild Wings going in at Tulsa Hills but I don't think they've started building it yet. A second Louie's location is under construction at the end of the bridge into Jenks across the street from the entrance to the Riverwalk. Dirty's Tavern at the Riverwalk is pretty bad, I've been in there twice and it's been a tool festival both times. I haven't been to the location downtown but I wouldn't assume it to be any better.
Soco's is pretty good. I don't like either Brook location for watching a game. Sideline's is more interested in weekend bikers and bad cover bands than sports. Fox and Hound is good and does have a real non-smoking section. There's a place whose name escapes me on Memorial at 61st across the street from Friday's that ok (no, not Hooters, I mean across Memorial).

Yes there is going to be a BWW at Tulsa Hills in phase 2 of the project, to date however, there has been no groundbroken or anything of that nature. Best Buy opens June 1st if I am not mistaken. Petsmart, and Famous footwear will soon follow.

The Brooke at 91st and memorial is good to go to during Monday night football. They have 1 drafts and 50 cent wings. 12 HUGE wings with sauce, celery and 6 beers for under 15 dollars is a damn good value!
thanks guys for all the info!
Joemamma, check your PM.
I did. Thanks for sending it.

In OKC Bricktown, they have a place called Daiquiri Zone. Each table has a 17" lcd with audio that you can change to the game/show you want, and all tables face a giant wall of tv's with every game you could imagine.
Down side... it's owned by a former OU Player..
Upside... Good Bar Food
