I am CRAVING a chili cheese burger, onion rings, and root beer from Webers...however, no go, they are on vacation right now!
How inconsiderate. [:(!]
Just kidding, enjoy the break, Billy and family!
But seriously, where do I go from here?
Prob Rons unless anyone had a better place I should try? (I love Ron's but am looking to try something new) Don't care for Clauds and Goldie's doesn't quite work for a greasy fix.[8D]
edited because spelling abilities go out the window when dealing with burger cravin's this bad.
I really like Harden's (//%22http://www.thehamburgerstore.com/%22) myself.
Hear Hank's (//%22http://www.hankshamburgers.com/%22)is great also, but I have yet to make it over.
There's a tasty burger place around 6th and Peoria...someone else will have to come up with the name.
Odd hours and only open for lunch. East side of the street.
Another is Hanks - 8933 E Admiral

You are talking about JJ's Burgers on peoria. One of the best burgers I've ever had. His hours are strange though. You pretty much just have to drive by and if the open sign is out, count yourself lucky.
Hanks is great, a lil pricey IMO for a burger, and they give you somewhat small portions of tater tots. Heroes at Pine & Mingo has a GREAT cheeseburger with shredded lettuce and all the fixings. THEY GIVE YOU A LARGE AMOUNT OF FRIES or TOTS!
There is a lil yellow joint right off of 244 and I want to say Lewis? I forgot the name, but they have a great burger as well, the name is escaping me right now though.
Remember Gary's on the Riverwalk? That place had AMAZING root beer with free refills. I was a huge fan.

JJ's, that's it.
If it doesn't have to be a burger for your grease fix Phat Phillies in Gunboat on 12th is a winner. Can I get an Amen?
You know, I've never had a Phatty but I've had a Steak Stuffer...can I get a Amen![:P]
Thanks for the ideas, I had forgotten about Hanks.
I've seen JJ's many a time but no one was ever there.
Have a good night, you guys!

I think you are talking about Bill's. Between Utica and Lews on Admiral (south side of 244).
Big Kahuna Burger. Well, if you like burgers give 'em a try sometime. I can't usually get 'em myself because my girlfriend's a vegetarian which pretty much makes me a vegetarian. But I do love the taste of a good burger. Mm-mm-mm. You know what they call a Quarter Pounder with cheese in France?

Jumbo's on 41st just east of Sheridan makes a pretty good burger.
What about BurgerStreet at Harvard & 21st? They got good burgers, don't forget WhataBurger, they are scattered all over "T"-Towne. Burger joints are all over town.[B)]

Not enough grease my friend, not nearly enough! I'm talking about the thin beef patty "Tulsa Burger" with flat squished bun and fried onions and some old dude yelling while at the grill. And ROOT BEER! And wrapped in paper no logo that is see thru in grease spots.

Chain joints. Bleh. You can get those anywhere in this part of the country (that the south for those of you living in Ohio).
Hanks, Freddies, Rons. I haven't tried the Hatfields on Admiral just west of Garnett. I've passed by there, just never had any. I'd like to know if anyone here has tried them and what they have to say about 'em.
I remember a place up on the west side of Sheridan just north of King Street called Willies No 9 that had great burgers also.

We took the kids there a few times after Little League games in Jenks and always enjoyed it.
Gary's was an offshoot of Brownie's, which is still going on Harvard south of 21st.
There's an A&W burger joint on 51st (I think it's 51st) right near the I-44 Freeway, It's just west of the K-Mart Store... They also have real good rice & corn on the cob and sell A&W root beer. I believe it's also part of Long John Silvers the fish restaurant so you can buy fish there too.[B)]
Lot 'O' Burger on the 3100 block of Charles page Blvd. has/had real good burgers, I dunno if the joint is still open or not. It's just a little burger stand. They had big thick burgers. Too greasy for me..[xx(]

That must be a new one. I don't remember that being there before.

If you'd actually live here; that's been there for at least 5 years.
