Looking at my pikepass statement, I found a charge for a "violation toll" associated with a turnpike on the other side of the state that I didnt use (and havent driven on in several years).
It appears to be some sort of fine automatically deducted from my account, which might be a violation of due process (or a failed attempt at streamlining ticketing).
Anyone have any experiences with this?
I haven't had that but generally pikepass customer service understands some things slip by and they correct them.
Call them and talk to them. I got them to remove a toll I did't make just by calling, explaining the situation to the phone person and they removed the toll. I tried to be nice and not yell at them or anything.
Call them up. They're pretty good about fixing things quickly.
Yeah they've fixed several of my pike pass "violations".
Patric, they fix it?
Could be a computer glitch or something like that. I hate toll roads.
Im on the road now, but Ill give them a call.
Curious to see if this was isolated or not, considering they are expanding pikepasses to other purposes.
I have noticed on my statement that when I exit at the same location everyday after work It will be a .40 charge..and other times a .75 charge...it was more than once on the statement...am calling

Look to see if the pass correctly identified both the entry and exit locations. If it missed one, it will assume a distance to charge you. Pike Pass people have always been good about correcting that.
