Jamil's Steak House is moving a few blocks east on 51st Street.
New location to open soon.
Jamil's will be open in it's old location for a week. Owners hope not to close during the move.

They're moving into the old Jimmy's Egg location. With a building that nice, will they start cleaning?
I wonder what they'll do with the old location?

The new location for Jamil's is the 'old?' Jimmy's Egg location. Anybody know where the mystery location at 41st & Peoria is for the 'new' Jimmy's Egg? And come on, ODOT paid $1.5 mil for Jamil's? quote:

Overeasy, LLC has purchased the exclusive rights to develop Jimmy's Egg Restaurants in the Tulsa market.
"The first new Jimmy's Egg will be located at the corner of East 41st Street and South Peoria in Tulsa and will replace the existing East 51st St. location that will close as a result of the upcoming I-44 road construction," said Jim Burke, manager of Jimmy's Egg Franchise Systems.
"We are excited about the commitment made by Preston Stockton and Ken Burke, owners of Overeasy, to expand the Jimmy's Egg brand in Tulsa. The sale of the Tulsa and Wichita franchise territories is the beginning of the regional roll out of Jimmy's Egg Restaurants," according to Burke.
"We also have franchise development agreements in the works for several markets including Springfield and Houston."
Earlier this month, Jimmy's Egg Franchise Systems announced the sale of the Wichita KS franchise development rights and is currently interviewing franchise candidates for the Lawton territory.
Jimmy's Egg Franchise Systems LLC is a joint venture between Loc Le, the founder of Jimmy's Egg and Jim Burke, the former President and CEO of Oklahoma based Eateries Inc. Burke co-founded the Garfield's Restaurant chain of 55 restaurants in 20 states which was sold to an investment group at the end of 2006. Burke and Brad Grow, former CFO for Eateries Inc., have formed Burke and Grow LLC, an investment firm focused on restaurant and franchise investment opportunities.

WOW Im shocked that the state is finally doing this work.I have been traveling this area back and forth to branson and by far this is the most dangerous area to drive.I hope I can still smell jamils as I go by LOL

Something is not connecting. We're being told that Jamil's is moving into the old Jimmy's Egg and Jimmy's Egg is moving as a result of the upcoming I-44 work... quote:

So which corner of 41st and Peoria is Jimmy's Egg going on? you have the Ace Hardware on one corner, the convience store on another, Mazzios on the third and the pharmacy on the 4th.
As for Jamil's going into the old Jimmys location, isn't that going to be torn down?
I am confused.

Jimmy's egg may be losing parking or somesuch but the address is the same.
