yep, that green roof building. At least once a week I see them evacuate and ambulances and fire trucks show up. The other day TWO ambulances and two emsa support vehicles showed up. Is it a nursing home where lots of people die?
Day*** something. Some inconsiderate people were flocked in front of the sign!

They're practising for when the OSU hospital thingy is gone and no one will take them. Service on the spot , it's part of "Change"
wow, talk about a chaotic place....I'd love to see the stats for the number of EMSA and fire calls there. I have a feeling a large portion of the EMSA fees are spent there.

Now. Now. these folks can still liquidate the assets of other nearby hospitals. Really, Hillcrest and St. Johns is not that far away.
That builing is the Daycenter for the homeless. EMSA and TFD respond there and to the backside of the salvation army multiple tmes daily. The back sida of the salvation army is a shelter and clinic..

Well that place is usually packed inside so you'll see a bunch of people sitting outside anyway along with the drifters who come and go throughout the day.
Anyways, I work in the healthcare field and can tell you first hand that I have seen many homeless people admitted to the hospital, and guess who has to pay for their stay and care. Another place that you'll see a bunch of homeless people are psychiatric facilities. Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health (TCBH) would probably top the list for the mental facility that you'll see the most homeless at...mainly because the state pays for it and their services are basically free. TCBH has seen so many homeless, in fact, that they built a rapport with them and know many of the repeats by name.

I agree with Townsend.
There's no telephone pole or entry gate...so they'll at least be safe from drunken police officers.

You agree??? That's what it is called. Homeless people stay there to get out of the inclimate weather and get medical care.
Ok, you people are terrible.
Many of those people are Vietnam Vets, let down by their country. Some of them are mentally ill. Some of them are crackheads. Some of them have seen better days and would love nothing more than to get out of that awful situation.
So you wine about paying for their ER visits. I don't want to pay for them either, but the way our broken health system is here, your alternative is to let them die, or let their diseases fester until it kills them early.
I don't have the answer, but this is ridiculous. Have some decency.

That was my point exactly! There are obviously people on this forum watching from their high rise office buildings that are still wondering what the hell "that building" is. Hey corporate America--- there are homeless people among us!!! Pull your heads out of the sand. Sorry if the sirens bother you but someone obviously was at the end of their rope and needed help.

Doesn't exist; there is no McDonalds or QT at 31st & Garnett.
41st and Garnett is a whole other story though. I drive past that intersection every day on my way to work.
If THAT's the building you speak of, it's a QT transportation terminal is what I was told.
[:D]
It's the new maintenance office for QT.
And yeah, 41st.
