Post by: TulsaPride on September 02, 2009, 07:27:19 PM
Got a bone to pick with the news media?  Think you can do it better?  Is the news media biased?  Maybe it should be!

In The Present and Future of the Biased News Media, we'll be taking a look at how the news is delivered to the public, and how forces at play make the writers, readers, and viewers think it has a slanted edge.   In addition, the class will explore ways that you can become involved in producing your own version of the news.

Your Instructor:  Michael Kronley is a multiple Emmy award winning journalist.  He was Vice President / General Manager of KJRH, Channel 2 Tulsa, and is an occasional contributor to the Tulsa World.

Guest Speakers:  media and news executives as well as front line journalists.
Courses begin September 15th – October 20th; Tuesday Evenings 6 – 8:00 pm. at the University of Tulsa

Cost  $195
