Title: LIVE MUSIC AND CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES AT THE TULSA HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Post by: Sue on September 11, 2009, 02:48:27 pm
Spend an Afternoon with The Fabulous Mid-Life Band and the Tulsa Children's Museum

Mark you calendars for the 2nd annual Music on the Lawn on Sunday, October 25 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Tulsa Historical Society's Vintage Garden. Free and open to the public, come and enjoy a fun afternoon and discover your city's history.  The Tulsa Historical Society is located at 2445 S. Peoria, located next door to the Tulsa Garden Center at Woodward Park, sharing the same cobblestone driveway.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the popular local band, Mid Life Crisis, playing classic Rock and Roll from the 60's and 70's.  This is a family event so bring your relatives and friends of all ages.   Food for sale is available on site or feel free to bring your own picnic.  The music will be fabulous, the museum's seven galleries will be open and you can tour the artifact garden, which includes the five Native American Oklahoma ballerinas captured in bronze.

The Tulsa Children's Museum is collaborating with the Tulsa Historical Society on this event and will provide a variety of educational and entertaining activities for children.
