Title: Lots of TulsaNow Folks on the Hot 100 List
Post by: PonderInc on January 08, 2010, 09:48:46 pm
Just skimmed through the annual "Hot 100" list in the Urban Tulsa.  I'm seeing lots of TulsaNow members and forum posters on this list.  Nice job, everyone!

Hey, Artist, can I have your autograph?

Damn. Ignored again. How will I survive? Oh, yeah, by not reading them. Just like the World. :)

3 current TulsaNow governing board members and 2 former members on the list. TulsaNow is like... 20% of the list!

"Tom Dittus, Swamphouse Partners LLC. If you've been keeping up with recent developments, the rumors are true. Tom Dittus is reopening the Blue Rose Café this year on the east bank of the Arkansas River. By the end of last year, he opened a satellite location called Elwood's, which would serve cold beer and other drinks, along with a light menu that includes soups, chili, bagels and deli sandwiches."

Huh?  Odd tense usage.  Is Elwood's even open yet?

There's the usual self-aggrandizement and boot-licking for about half the nominees, but the other half is usually worthy of creds.  Nice mention for you and Decopolis, William, it's well-deserved.

And yet one more thread we can mention Marshall's Beer. :)
