They had to call for police cars from all areas of town to break up the fights. At one point there were 42 active calls holding and no one to go to them.

It is sad indeed. Martin Luther King, Jr. was such an inspiration for non-violent action. To fight at an event honoring such a great inspirational leader is just so wrong. Not that females aren't in gangs, just seems odd that mainly female gang members fought.
