If he keeps this up, he could evolve as what?... the only credible leader in the GOP?
He might as well. What else does he have to lose?
He must suspect he's implicated in the taking gifts (free rent) c street affair and he's headed for the sympathy card.
GOP's 'Dr. No' defends Pelosi, slams Fox News

"The Republican senator who has been blocking an extension of unemployment benefits surprised supporters and critics alike with a defense of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and criticism of Fox News at a recent town hall event.
"
The Teahadists will not be happy about this. I'm wondering more and more about our Doctor Tom. Is he being purged by the GOP? Is he distancing himself before the election? W T F ? Who is going to run against this .....what's the word.... vacillator? Coburn's a slow burn....read the comments. Hilarious stuff. OkToss from Norman's comments are priceless. "Oklahoma, racing you to the dark ages."
Well, at least he is an honest person. He has always been very upfront with what his beliefs are and whether one likes him or not, he is not the typical slimeball Senator (insert you know who here).
Fred Thompson and Al Franken are a couple more that are brutally honest and straightforward, even if diametrically opposed.
Gun's N Roses on Leno. Haven't seen them in a while.
Coburn is quoted and it's reasonable.
I know, I know, I had to read it twice.

QuoteYesterday, Oklahoma Sen. Tom Coburn, who is strongly identified with both the fiscal- and social-conservative wings of the GOP, wound up cautioning some conservative constituents at a town hall gathering not to "catch yourself being biased by Fox News that somebody is no good."
Coburn's plea for viewer skepticism came in defense of his courtly aside about Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whom he characterized as "a nice person." When a wave of grumbling followed, Coburn stood his ground, asking the crowd "how many of you all have met her?" before proceeding to chide them for echoing the Fox-branded view of Pelosi as a poor specimen of humanity.
He has a lot of stuff that I don't personally agree with, but that does not make him bad; in fact he is a good man. And refreshingly honest.
Just like Al Franken has a lot of stuff I don't agree with, but he is also a good man and refreshingly honest.
Imagine if we could get more like them and have actual discourse and action brought about by honorable, honest people?? What could this country become? How much better could we be??
Ok, enough of Dreamland. Back to Tulsa and reality...
If they can't get all of your opinions from Fox News pancakes are they going to do??
