Did anyone else notice dozens of curbs repair being made on medians, corners and entrances starting this last weekend? First is a crew cutting out bad sections and replacing them with an orange safety cone, later comes another crew to put a new curb in. The sections being done are generally only a couple of feet wide.
Snow plows really cause a lot of damage.
I wish they'd fix the curbs in my neighborhood and restore the sidewalks while they are at it. Its hard to run a nice clean grass edger along a busted up curb! I have remnants of sidewalk left in my front yard. Never know whether to edge two sections of sidewalk or let the grass run crazy on them.

Does the City of Tulsa maintain sidewalks?
In the town where I grew up, the homeowners were responsible for the sidewalks. Dad had to replace several sections because tree roots lifted them out of level. I think the town maintained the curbs but I'm not sure.
They were patching them on 31st St. between Hudson and Darlington last week.
Many curbs were repaired downtown the week before the NCAA tournament.
Mine were repaired when a certain city councilor was in office, and his mother lives next to me. They did our block and then left. It helps to know people doesn't it?

Curbs or sidewalks?
I was told sidewalks have to be repaired and/or built by the homeowners. The city will build them but the homeowners have to pay for it.
