The Tulsa Volunteer Festival, featuring more than 50 nonprofit groups, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 29 at the Tulsa Promenade mall, 4107 S. Yale Ave.

The festival will showcase local musicians, clowns and a choir. Nonprofit groups will have displays that explain their missions and outline volunteer opportunities.

Last year, one in three Tulsans volunteered an average of 3.5 hours a week.

The festival is being sponsored by Volunteer Central of Greater Tulsa, the Tulsa Association of Volunteer Administrators and the Tulsa Promenade.
