Title: Tulsa Tough Cycling - Rides & Criterium Racing
Post by: PonderInc on May 31, 2006, 01:54:07 PM
If you've never seen criterium bicycle racing, get down to the Brady district on Saturday! (Friday's events take place at the Blue Dome district, and Sunday, races/rides will start from Riverside Drive just south of Southwest Blvd.)

On Saturday, professional and elite, amateur cyclists will be racing from 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM through the Blue Dome and Greenwood districts. (Bide rides from 50 KM to 100 Miles will also take place, starting at 7:00 AM.)

In criterium racing,  the course is a small loop (less than a mile) which means that about 100 cyclists will be zipping around and around the course, allowing spectators to follow the race from one location.

Live music (Voodoo Crush and Rewake), events for the kids, and exciting men's and women's bike races... Is there any place you'd rather be?!
