During January and February when I was stuck in my house for two weeks due to the ice and snow, I thought that this winter had been remarkably colder than the last couple that we've had and with more ice and snow, and that would help keep this year's tick population down.
Then, about a week or two ago, I was watching the news and heard, "due to the very mild winter, tick season is expected to be a tough one this year."
Am I the only one who found our "mild" winter weather to be a bit more on the below freezing side?
From what I can remember we really only had about 2-3 weeks of cold weather... the rest has been rather mild
