Post by: perspicuity85 on November 13, 2007, 02:10:59 AM
This article (//%22http://www.urbantulsa.com/gyrobase/Content?oid=18186%22) from Urban Tulsa about one month ago mentions something about every downtown housing product: existing and under construction.

According to sources within the article, Mayo 420(Mayo Building) lofts will be done by Mid-2008, First St. Lofts will be done by October 2008,and The Mayo Hotel/Lofts will be finished by June 2009.

Be glad to see those happen. Still not enough though to creat the kind of critical mass to keep businesses open in the evening and create a feeling of "life" downtown. I believe the number is 1,500 to 3,000 residences within short walking distance to maintain one block of "main street" shops etc. Definitely an improvement and every bit is getting us there.
