Can you all help me compile a list of daily and periodical restaurant deals? Here is what I have so far:
First week of the month: Senor Tequila - half price beverages
Every day 2-4 pm, Sonic happy hour, half price beverages.
Sunday: Qdoba, $1.50 kids meals
Monday: Wings to Go 96th and Delaware: 35cent wings
Tuesday: All you can eat Ribs at Legends, Rib Crib, and Billy Simms.
Qdoba: $1 taco day
Senor Tequila - cheap or free kids meals (I can't remember exactly)
Wednesday: El Chico: $4.5 enchiladas ($5.50 for dinner).
Thursday: El Chico: cheap kids meals?
Sonic: half price burgers 4 pm to close.
Friday?
Saturday?

Umberto's 7.99 two topping Mon and Tue
The Brook has Fajitas for 6.00 on monday night.....
Kentucky Fried Chicken has Chicken-fried steak meal for $1.99 on Mondays

I am stuck in DC...I will add some later...
El Guapo had $4.99 Wet Burritos on Monday and $6.99 Fajitas on Thursday last I heard.
Large 1-topping at Little Caesars is $5 everyday.

damn you took mine. Wings to go has 39 cent wings on Mondays and 1 dollar domestic drafts. I know it is offered at 96th and riverside and also at the one on memorial and 111th. I am not for sure about the one in BA.
Subway has a cup of soup, any 6" sub, and a drink for only 5.99.
Quiznos has 3 regular subs on mondays for I think 9.99. Pretty good deal considering quiznos is on the pricier side for a sub.

It's now $6.69.
The Senor Tequila 1st week (Fiesta Week) deal is dead. I went there last month and they told me that it was a "New Year, New Prices". I later found out from the owners nephew, who tends bar at the 51st st location, that the owner felt that he was being taken advantage of. (? Why offer?)
Deals that I enjoy;
Wednesdays at McNellies: $3 Dollar Burgers, Arrive early,
EL Guapo's : Tuesday $1 Carnita (Pork) Tacos and $2 dollar Tecates.
Mondays: $3.99 Wet Burritos

yeah, **** excuses like this make me question these guy's ability to run a business. What is their reasoning for offering the deal in the first place? They think people will order food with the cheap drinks?
Backyard burgers has 1.19 jr. burger Wednesdays, and Webers usually has some kind of .99 burger deal.
Yesterday was the Ronald McDonald burger deal day at McDonalds... doesn't help anymore, but i was late to this party and wanted to add something. [B)]
You guys should be careful with these restaurant deals. Notice how most of these places offer heavily discounted items on mondays and tuesdays...they are getting rid of all the old stuff that wasn't used on the weekends. For example, the $6 Mazzios monday pizza special (one large one topping pizza for $6). The quality of those $6 pizzas are far inferior to their normal priced counterparts; the cheese is like goo. I'm a huge fan of not getting the dregs and I would rather drop a little extra cash than risk getting sick too. Not trying to be a downer here but be careful.

You mean on Mondays, Mazzio's runs two separate pizza production lines? different dough, different sauces, different cheeses, different on each of the toppings, somehow I don't think so. Just drumming up business on a slower day of the week.

Not true.
On the topic of pizza, Pie Hole is cheap on Tuesdays.
$10 gets you either a 12" specialty pizza or a 16" two topping pizza
(at least somewhat recently this was true)
Thats $10 for a quality pizza, not a $5 cost controlled product. :)

Whoa take it easy now...i'm not a conspiracy theorist. Just saying I've known quite a few people that work at these places and have been told what goes on 'behind the scenes.' I understand that having special deals on slow nights can bring much needed business to restaurants, but if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Yesterday's meatloaf can often become today's sloppy joes.

Well I know it doesnt work like that at Mazzio's. Maybe at Bubba's Meatloaf Shack.

Agree...restaurants work on a FIFO(First In First Out) system. Friday is a big delivery day to stock up for the weekend. Monday is a big order/inventory day to restock from the weekend. Fast food places like this DO NOT get tons of
fresh products in on Friday. It's mostly frozen & they've had it for days or weeks in the freezer.

I have considered giving you a tray and looked at the menu online but was suprised I could find no real specialty or hook. Your location is the "former home" of many a restaurant and I am waiting for something unique to come in and survive. From the menu it appears the only theme is "we have burgers and beer" which is not very unique.

actually I've never had a "burnt up fast food burger' so I assume you serve yours undercooked?
Our menu is made with everyone in mind, so we try to make sure everyone can find something to eat. Here are some of the things my wife and I are proudest of,
Fresh (never frozen) burgers that stay juicy and delicious after cooking.
Homemade Salsa
Homemade Queso
Cooked to order Tortilla Chips
Homemade Turkey Burgers (not on the menu)
Homemade Tortilla Soup (not on the menu)
Freshest hand prepped veggies
Made to order Guacamole
My wife or I are here all day!
Word of Mouth is the way we are in Business!
Support local business!!
