BlackAlive Entertainment presents
‘Jazz…and More!’ . a live music event/taping featuring national recording artist Ira Levi . Mr. Levi will be backed by local 5-piece band, ZAMAR in a revue that features traditional and modern jazz/soul selections. The event is scheduled for March 2,2008 at Tulsa’s chic wine bar, ‘VINTAGE 1740‘. An opening act will be announced.

The son of legendary jazz vocalist, Sam Fletcher , Ira Levi gained popularity as a
top-selling dance/Pop music artist (‘Free Your Mind’,‘Let the Children Dance’) on Strictly Rhythm records. He was recently featured in the local stage production,
“Why Won’t He Love Me Forever?’.  “Jazz ..and more“, he says,” is a return to my roots, from Ellington to Motown!”  (www.iralevimusic.com)

Zamar is a Tulsa favorite known for its’ smooth, syncopated sound and originality. The tight unit features Quincy Edwards (Drums), Bobby Moffett (Keyboard),
Sterling Ramsey (Sax),Maurice Hawkins (Bass) and Craig Lecour (Guitar).


Vintage 1740 is located at  1740 S Boston. The sophisticated wine bar has been winning plaudits for the  classy atmosphere and eclectic wine list. Admission for the show is 15.00 for advance tickets and reserved seats. Doors open @ 6: 00 pm and show time is set for 7:15 pm. This event will be taped.  www.vintage1740.com
