Title: For Fans of the Band "Filter"
Post by: guido911 on March 22, 2008, 12:53:14 PM
I know there are several industrial/alternative rock music fans on this forum. This may be old news, but for those that do not know, a former member of Filter is serving in the Army in the middle east.

And they FINALLY have a new album due out in May.

The 'band' is really just Richard Patrick, who does all the work on the albums.  He gets other band mates to go on tour when new albums come out in order to play live.

And a little tidbit:  His brother is Robert Patrick, who took over for Mulder on X-Files.

Not that I'm a huge fan or anything.  [:D]

Robert Patrick never 'took over' for David Duchovny.  While Robert did ok, X Files stunk without Duchovny.

I'll agree with that.  I stand corrected.

I used to love that song, "Hey Man, Nice Shot".

Does that make me a fan?

The Bud Dwyer suicide song..

I'm a fan and have been occasionally listening to the first single off the new album on their myspace page.
