5:45pm - 7:00pm.  Briefing (http://"http://www.cyclistview.com/"), 6:00, ride leaves 6:30 - no dilly dallying!
Kidical Mass (http://"http://www.kidicalmass.org/") hits Tulsa!  3rd Friday of every month.  In public right-of-way, in front of KJRH, 3701 S. Peoria.

Share some ideas on ways to move kids around town in the post-fossil fueled Tulsa.

Founded in Eugene in April 2008 by Shane Rhodes (http://"http://bikeportland.org/2008/04/08/eugene-gears-up-for-kidical-mass/"), of Eugene's Safe Routes to School program, and Paul Adkins of BikeFriday (http://"http://www.bikefriday.com/"), this family-friendly event is designed to draw attention that kids are traffic too.

“What better thing to do than a critical mass-style ride, but something more family friendly.” Rhodes says, “the bike movement has grown up, and now it has kids!”

This is a law-abiding (http://"http://cityoftulsa.org/ourcity/ordinances/Title37.asp#Chapter6"), no corking, (http://"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Critical_Mass#Corking") easy ride in traffic on Brookside.

Unless you are a really HOT Danish mom, helmets STRONGLY suggested.  After the pavement cracks your head, picture your ex-wife explaining to the kids why daddy is now a drooling moron.

Will YOU be smarter than your kid, the 5th grader?

Decorations (http://"http://artbike.blogspot.com/") and bike bells are encouraged.  No fee, no leaders, no insurance.  Parents responsible for own kids.  But bring cash because we're going for ice cream!

Be visible.  Be predictable.  BE the change  (http://"http://www.tulsanow.net/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9584")YOU want Tulsa to be.

And, of course, come dressed to IMPRESS! (http://"http://www.flickr.com/photos/hollyandpatrick/1765986043/")
