Tornado in Picher

A tornado has apparently damaged much of the already-damaged town of Picher.  When I got online today, one of the lead stories on Yahoo was about Picher. (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080510/ap_on_re_us/farewell_to_a_town). Anyway, I read the story and became interested in the town.  I then started looking for pictures of the town, checking it out on maps, and reading other articles about the town.  Then I turn on the TV and at that moment the storm was right over Picher.  Talk about a strange coincidence.

I heard it caused $100 in damage and $3 million in improvements.

Sucks about those who died.  I hope they weren't some of those who rejected the buyouts.

Inteller, as usual, the epitome of grace and decorum. [xx(]

WE have twister warnings right now in Columbus, Ohio as I post this- the twister horns & sirens are blasting off. I guess a funnel cloud was seen about 3 miles away. I wish I was a storm chaser. Ohio normally has dull boring weather. I would think it's too cold for a tornado to form it's rainy and around 45 degrees outside.[}:)]
