Look, Bush holds the Saudi Prince's hand so that argument does not apply.

Video evidence that McCain would talk to Hamas.

And see, I agree with the Old McCain's take on it.  The New McCain, not so much.

You know I really used to like and respect McCain, but it's kinda tragic the degree to which he's compromised his beliefs to get the nomination (assuming that Old McCain was the genuine article and New McCain is the construct). And the tragedy is compounded by the fact that it's so obvious. There's evidence everywhere of what Old McCain was like, and it's really waaaaay different from what's on offer from the New McCain.

And, name one candidate in the last ten or so Presidential elections who has not changed their stance on an important issue or two to get elected.

People who think foreign policy is going to be better under McCain or Obama are sorely mistaken.  First you have to get barbarians to act civilized, that doesn't happen by holding their hand and singing kumbaya.

Hey, I'm all about the marketplace of ideas and changing with the times, but McCain's gone way overboard.  He's damn near unrecognizable from his positions of only a year or so ago.

Like I said, not that I was gonna vote for the guy, but I really used to respect him for his ability to think for himself.  He bucked the GOP on what looked like his own terms, and that's impressive for anyone to accomplish.  But he's completely adopted the Bush agenda to a T.  He's lost the one thing that he was known for -- political courage -- and without that . . . he's just another Bush flunkie.

What was that thing that people used to say about Kerry when they accused him of changing his position on invading Iraq?  "Fleep-flooper", or something?  That's it.  McCain's a fleep-flooping douchebag.

I'm sure FoxNews will stay on top of McCain's flip-flops throughout the campaign season the same way they covered John Kerry...
/sarcasm

Especially since McCain "voted against the Bush tax cuts before he voted for them..."
