Some of you may know that Wasabi is the owner that used to have Asahi before they left and came back...(?)

Anyways, they are going to lose because they have no gimmick like Fuji or Asahi that will keep people coming in.  No half price sushi list (FAIL).

Food is priced on the high side compared to Asahi and Fuji.  Maybe a little higher than Memories of Japan.

The beef teriyaki was good.  Udon was good.  In fact I'll say it was better than say MOJ....but not sure if it justified the higher cost.

But the biggest failure was the fact that we ordered the same things BEFORE people sitting behind us and their food came out first.  Huge black mark which is why we won't be going back.

Wasabi, innovate fast, or you'll suffer the curse of Okie Dokie, Coaches, and every other restaurant that existed on that plat.

Some people will go somewhere not because they are cheap...but because it is good....perhaps you should stick to Asahi or Fuji..I know that I never go somewhere for cheap sushi when I want some...if its good..I will pay the price...perhaps you should go to reasors for your sushi if you want cheap.

who said the sushi at Fuji or MOJ is cheap?  I didn't..I said Wasabi is a little higher than those places.

Simply that, at those places the sushi is worth the price.  At Wasabi it is not....yet they charge the same (or more) as those other places.

Get it?

Sushi grade tuna seems to be getting worse as time goes on. My theory is that by 2015, sushi establishments will have changed along with fish availability.

Better get out and get some fish on your tounge while you're still able.
