The Tulsa Symphony Orchestra dishes up a winning combination of first-rate music, a prize-winning pianist and a critically acclaimed conductor at this concert.  Tulsa favorite David Lockington leads the orchestra in "Symphonic Music for Strings and Brass" by Sawyers and Dvorak's sunny Symphony No. 8 in G Major, op. 88.  Alexander Ghindin, winner of the 2007 Cleveland International Piano Competition, will perform Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 in C major, op. 26, a work known for its lyricism and virtuosity.  The concert starts at 7:30 pm at Chapman Music Hall of the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, 3rd & Cincinnati.  Single tickets at $5-$65 go on sale September 18 at the PAC box office, (918) 596-7111 or www.myticketoffice.com.

This concert is funded, in part, through a grant from the Oklahoma Arts Council and the Pattie Johnson Wilson Foundation.
