Wi-fi is great for low-coverage areas or when traveling overseas.  I wonder if the application has the necessary speed on the new 3G model?

OH! iPhones will only be available one-per-person and must be activated on an account before leaving the at&t/Apple store.  No easy jailbreaking any mo, hackers!

rookie....you will be still be able to jailbreak it, I can gaurantee you that.  Unlocking will be somewhat more difficult, but it will happen, just give it some time.  I say no longer then a week.  I have had my iPhone jailbroken since the day I got it.  It is not unlocked, because I have AT&T, and there is no need.

Think so? 3G is already unlocked!  I guess I should say it will be more of a pain to buy the device OTC for the express purpose of sending it to, say, Mumbai or Qatar . . .  No more 'gifting' or buying for non-present-at-store parties.

What does any of this have to do with the original post..does everyone on this forum have ADD?

I was eating at KFC the other day and I was . . . wait, what?

I wonder if the iTouch would be a better candidate for the wifi VOIP since the 3G will be harder for non-at&t customers to get their paws on.

the touch requires a microphone add-on, other than that it is a great choice for voip.

Apparently the new iPhone has a hidden feature ...

it has been a week, how did it work? pros? cons?  Do you read everythingicafe.com?  There is alot of useful info about the V1, 3G iphone, itouch, etc etc.  Lots of useful information regarding cases, reviews, and recommendations. Very useful site IMO.
