It is apperent that the Moderator does not lurk on here as often as many of us, (s)he seems to be on one or two times a day as things go unmoderated for a while.  Once they are up and replied to, it appears they are locked and not deleted.  The only threads I notice "disappearing" are spam threads.

Not sure if that is the policy, but it appears to be the way it goes.  PM the Moderator or Admin or email the site Admin and ask if it is of grave concern.  All I (we) can tell you is what our thoughts are and/or how we have done things on other sites (I modded several gaming forums over the years).

MD, I hope you don't think I'm chastising you because you asked.  Really it's not that big of a deal.  I just thought it was kinda funny that it kept going and going after the position was clearly stated.

There was some controversy with AOX/FOTD a year or so ago about a deleted thread (the details are lost) so they lock threads instead of deleting them.  That's my understanding.  You'd have to PM the Moderator to get the real story, which is why it was kind of funny that you asked the public.

Also why I imagine the Moderated was having fun with you (I'm still not sure if the thread disappeared/reappeared or what.  Either way it's kind funny).
