I realize it's a part time job officially and some keep it that way. I wonder though is there a limit to the number of vacations you can take and how many meetings you can miss.

It's also odd to me that every time I see Patrick giving an interview, he is at his car shop. Does he really work enough to earn his salary?

dont worry, any time he really needs to be at work the mayor will fly him in....with complementary snacks and lobbyists.

Yes. He is a good mechanic. I have taken my truck to him (and his brother before he passed away) for many years.

David is a good guy and a good mechanic.

LOL.

David Patrick will probably be the first Councilor in the history of the Council to be successfully recalled. His unethical misconduct, contempt for his constituents, and his willingness to deliver disservices upon the District in service to the parochial familial oligarchies that run this city and their shadow government are only rivaled by Kathy Taylor. No wonder Spincycle says he's a good guy.

DoubleA sure uses a lot of words that mean nothing.

David Patrick should be his hero. He ain't rich, has a blue collar job, and represents poor parts of our city.

DoubleA just hates Patrick because the voters elected him over Roscoe Turner.
Power is nothing till you use it.

Really? You think a councilor on his third time elected will get recalled?

Only time I saw him in the media was at the Rose Bowl working with the owner who was reopening it as a concert venue.

AA, are you still upset because Roscoe "Hell No" Turner didn't win?

Double A

The head of the Maxwell Park neighborhood association is spearheading the efforts to recall Patrick. He worked on the campaign that got Patrick elected and even circulated the petition required to get Patrick's name on the ballot. He was until recently a Patrick supporter and considered himself a good friend of David Patrick. It ain't about sour grapes, it's about Patrick's misconduct in office. Even his close friends and supporters acknowledge it is too egregious to ignore.

This recall effort is being proposed and undertaken by Patrick's own supporters, Roscoe Turner's supporters did not initiate this, but I bet they'll be willing to help this process move forward.

Is the same group recalling Patrick and Gomez?

Nope. But it sounds like these two groups might consider consolidating their efforts. The two different groups live in the Councilor's respective Districts, so this recall is being sought by their own constituents from within their own districts.

yes I suspect they will team up to coordinate efforts.

sure, Patrick was "elected" for a third time.  And the amount paid to elect him was pretty exorbinant.

Patrick was elected to serve his constituents He is required to attend two meeting a month the same as the other councilors by charter.  He represents the lower class who feed the upper class in their mythical building a down town.  He, likes the others in the setup charter and required to be without opinion only to promote the word "YES FOR ALL UPERCLASS PROJECTS.   He is of the grass roots that was promised in establish a new charter and call it an amended charter building one kingdom of the rules of Tulsa.

True we do not have  the representations promised at grass roots level because the upper class consider the lower class to be to too  stupid to represent the majority of the citizens which make up the lower class.   We are in great need to  look outside the state to find persons to rule us beyond the voters reach.

Where were those who want this  carter changed to "One Person one person rule."
Today we stand in ecstasy and view that we build today'
Tomorrow we will enter into the plea to have it torn away.
