Urban Tulsa Weekly will host Urban Brew Rendezvous: A Beer, Wine and Spirits Tasting Event on Saturday September 20, 2008, 7pm - 10pm at Cherokee Casino Resort
to benefit Advocates for the Protection of Children.
A fun-filled summer evening is planned at Tulsa's premiere resort, Cherokee Casino, with the centerpiece of the event being a beer, wine and spirits tasting. Cherokee Casino is donating the space needed for the event as well as the catering of appetizers for the guests.
All profits from the event go directly to Tulsa Advocates for the Protection of Children, an organization that supports abused and/or neglected children in OKDHS custody in Tulsa County.  Over 1700 children in Tulsa are in group homes and foster homes. These children depend on the kindness of charitable contributions for clothes, necessary items, and Christmas and birthday gifts throughout the year.
A fasion show will be hosted by All Access clothing and door prizes will be given away all evening from local business including Sunshine Furniture, High Gravity, and someone will win a scooter courtesy of Tulsa Scooters.
