Bombs and Teargas at the RNC
This video disgusts me, welcome to your police state.  Before we know it there will be UN troops doing the same thing.

So I wasnt the only one who thought that looked a bit like the police riot of '68 in Chicago?

Did you see the antiwar protestors who were breaking windows and the such? How exactley do you promote peace by going around destroying things??
The media is not covering this for one reason ... they are liberals and they realize that these protestors are also EXTREMELY liberal and it will make them look bad, not the Republicans. The much more peaceful protests in Denver were covered much more in depth because the liberal media thought perhaps the viewers would think that it was the work of Republicans, which it was not.

Yeah it is strange that you diddn't see a lot of republicans protesting at the DNC.  I guess they couldn't take off work for the event.

Some of the networks have been covering the protests at the RNC.  BBC, Reuters, and Drudge have given it some top billing.

Fox had Ducy's son out among the protesters asking questions like "Who is Joe Biden?"  and "Who is the Current Vice President of The United States?"  Many of the protesters he talked to were absolutely clueless.  All they knew was the name OBAMA, and how to chant it.  He asked one of the organizers, a young woman, what they were protesting, and she couldn't formulate an answer, just repeat the word change.

They are doing a good job for thier candidate. [;)]

Outside the Armory in Beantown in '72 FOTD got caught in a riot as Pat Nixon spoke to supporters inside. It was a peaceful demonstration until all of a sudden a car was turned over and torched. Then hundreds of riot police came in with dogs and dispersed the crowd.

Later, it was discovered the riot was self inflicted by the rethugs. So don't tell me these shenanigans are brought on by leftists.

We're talking to people who live in fantasyland. They believe all evil is liberal in nature and promoted by liberal media. Their world is black/white, good/bad and unsupported by the facts.

If they were to stop a McCain supporter on the street and ask them the same questions as referenced above about their own party, the results would be even more dismal. Everyday Americans don't understand their country's operations much less its politics.

I suspect a lot of these big talkers around here have never been around a protest or even a big crowd by their remarks. Usually the most violent, outspoken and camera worthy participants are drunken high schoolers or street punks looking for some fun. I experienced it on Commerce street in Dallas at OU/Texas games and at "supposed" protests on the OU campus during the Kent State shootings. Stuff gets way overblown. A friend of mine was at Chicago DNC in 1968 and relayed the same thing.

Proof?

Two things.  First of all most of you are completely missing the point.  Sure there are a few dumb donkey anarchists and probably some provocateur police in the crowd but the main point is most people were PEACEFUL and protesting in a PEACEFUL manner but were pepper sprayed, beaten and arrested because they stepped out of the "Free Speech Zone".  This is a direct violation of our constitution.

Yes cops have been documented on several occasions PROVOKING the crowd so the police have a REASON to use their rubber bullets, flash bangs and over the top brutal force.
