Get free credit reporting and maybe free cash

I heard Michelle Singletary talking about this on NPR today and it was really real.  The results of a class action suit that won is that you can sign up for 6 or 9 months free credit monitoring from Trans Union.  Here is the link  Basically if you have applied for credit in the past 20 years you are eligible.  She recommended the 6 months and cash option, the monitoring is worth $60. plus if the cash comes through maybe 5 bucks.

I signed up for this about six months ago...well, maybe not that long, but I sure haven't heard anything for what feels like 1/2 year...[]
