Its spin pure and simple. Republican governor Blunt was interviewed on CNN this morning. It was pointed out to him by a lowly talking head that McCain is doing the same thing in North Carolina and probably in Missouri as well. He backtracked and said that prosecutors and law enforcement officials were operating within their jobs in what they were doing. He didn't like the fact that this group was so well organized.

So, as long as your opponents don't do it very well, its okay. Close race there guv?

But Obama's a baby killer... and he wants to take all your rights away... and his wife hates America... he's one of them thar "community activists"... which makes him a pinko-commie liberal...

spin, spin, spin some more...

So I take it you Obama supporters are defending this?

It's indefensible, and you know it. Thus, you point fingers and him/haw about how McCain should tell the truth and this "wouldn't be happening."

Partisanship at it's greatest. Anything for your candidate, even when you know it is wrong.

Shame on you all.

So you're trying to tell us it's indefensible?  Why is there not more of an outcry if so?

It's a non-issue.  Everyone seems to be trying to make something into an issue, especially when they are down in the polls.

It was pointed out to me that they are simply enforcing existing ethics laws.

I would guess the Obama supporters would be whining about this as well if McCain were doing it and Obama was down in the polls.
