Jiminy, just how much of your life is governed by yes or no answers? Thats a significant trait of conservatives. Life is black and white, good and evil for them. They frame the questions to reflect what they already believe. Unfortunately life just doesn't mirror that philosophy. We are faced with decisions that require sorting out and weighing the options.

For instance, change your questioning by Charlie. "If you believe that kindergarten children should be given basic understandings of what can be touched by others and what is off limits to others in order to protect them against child molestors, vote yes. If you believe that they shouldn't be made aware so that child predators can molest them without fear, vote no.

Lots of words, but worth the effort.

Waterboy, that's exactly my point.  Gibson might take that approach with Obama, but he sure didn't with Sarah.  In fact, several times I don't think he really listened to her or comprehended her response.

Oh, shut up arayan Bear. I was going to let it go but noooo, you have to stick your wet nose into it.

Jiminy, I see your point. However, you work from the premise that Charlie was tough on her. I don't buy that. Gibson has been on weekday am psuedo news for so long, he isn't tough on anyone. We each saw it through our own prizm.

I believe Gibson would not treat Obama any differently as reporters are ratings pigs and there's no real advantage to taking risks like that in interviews unless its on a Sunday am political show. If he treats him deferentially he loses.

The killer pieces are the ones like Rick Sanchez does on CNN where a reporters' real bias comes into play. They can use editting, sound bites and camera angles to say things that aren't even close to reality. A good interviewee can skewer you live, but a good editor makes sure it never is seen.

As a patient instructor to the foolish, I was waiting on the Student to first discover his own mistake.

However, the Master's patience is not endless...

Hence, the spelling advisory...Cricket.

The only students in your class would indeed be fools.

How is that any worse than McCain calling someone questioning his age as a point of the campaign 'a little jerk'

On today's private jet flights from Washington D.C., the two presidential candidates are preparing for tonite's debate:

McCain is reviewing briefing papers on foreign policy from his key policy advisors.

Obama is rehearsing answers to tonite's questions previously provided by PBS staff to his campaign.

Anyone prove otherwise?

Just watch.....

Accuser has burden of proof.

And I'm betting foreign policy as a subject gets tabled tonight in favor of the weeks events.

But then again, since McCain is obviously not ready to talk about the economy, he may throw a hissy fit until he gets his way.

You know about that temperament.

Hoss, bet you a burger and a Marshall Wheat that Obama gets pwn3d by McCain tonight.

This will, no doubt, be stressful to Obama.  Probably wouldn't hurt to smoke a doobie beforehand.  Wonder if they have a smoke detector in the can of ObamaForce 1?

Based on whose review?  You know it's gonna tip multiple ways.

I'll hold my acceptance/denial of the bet until details are specified.

Based purely on my un-biased criteria, of course! [}:)]

There's bound to be some polls after the debate where people can say who pwn3d whom.  Gallup? Zogby? AP?

Where was the pwn3age?

[:O]

Even Dick Morris had to say to Sean Hannity that Obama won!  I thought Sean's head would explode.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that; it was closer to a tie, but I think both candidates got in appropriate zingers on each other.
