Would one of you brilliant people out there tell me who hires INCOG and how the citizens of Tulsa would go about releasing them from their contract and retaining their own planning department? What would the citizens of Tulsa have to lose or gain by such a move?

If INCOG doesn't answer to the mayor or the city council who do they answer to?

Councilor Christiansen stated at the last city council meeting that this would be good for the citizens of Tulsa, especially after the debacle at 81st and Mingo.

By the way, will the Bomosada project in Brookside fit into the neighborhood like the apartment buildings at 81st and Mingo?

The two projects can't be compared on the process. One was well-vetted before decisions were made and one was not.

Some liked the Bomasada and thought it would fit with the Brookside Master Plan... others didnt like it or think it would. Honest differences of opinions from what I could tell. The developer made some concessions to fit closer to the Brookside Plan and it looks like, what appeared to be the majority, who were for the development won the argument. Not sure what INCOG had to do with it?
