Ate lunch there today. My gosh, they have packed the tables and chairs in there.   The waitress could hardly walk between the isles.

I got my soup in the middle of eating my entree.

Not sure I will go back.

May try carry out but dinning in is too close for comfort for me.  I need my space.
Trust but verify

Seriously?  Olive Garden?

There's WAY better Italian food in this town than that old franchise.

One friend from a large Italian family makes a face every time Olive Garden is mentioned.  He recommended a couple of mom-and-pop Italian eateries in BA.

Would one of them be Napoli's?  That, IMO, is the best place in the area (they have more than one, BTW).

I tried their Chicken Diavolo for the first time last week.  Make sure you have lots of water on hand.  Good stuff.  Even Inteller would like them; lots of free bread.

Napoli's may have been one of them.  It's a small regional chain with about 6 stores, I think.  And it's my favorite in Owasso.  The bread is freshly made on premises.  I've had their manicotti, egg plant, and a calzone.  My 18-year-old son ordered a Philly cheese steak and had to take it home.  There was too much food for his normally bottomless stomach!

The other place my friend mentioned was a family owned restaurant.  He wanted something that wasn't on the menu, a dish made with sardines that his wife wouldn't make at home because it smelled up the whole house.  The chef readily agreed to make it, saying that HIS wife wouldn't let him make it at home either!

Napolis is the BEST!  They have a location in Claremore and 31st and Mingo.  There are others as well, but those are the 3, (including Owasso) I can think of.  It is very affordable, and the homemade pasta is amazing.

Just go the extra bit to Joplin or OKC to Fazoli's. That place is the best!

Funny you mention Fazoli's, they have pretty much closed up her in Phoenix. Just checked their web site, they have left Arizona.

My favorites for Italian were Ti Amo and Bella Italia.

Why should I waste all that gas and time going to Joplin or to the City when all I have to do is go to my local Napoli's or even Tucci's for Italian food?  To go to OKC instead of my local Napoli's makes the cost of that Italian meal way more than I want to spend.  Even if it is at a cheapo fast food place like Fazoli's where everything comes out of a can instead of being homemade.

Guido, I think your just trying to stir the pot.  Does this mean your taking time off from trolling the web for stories about possible Obama doings that you find possibly offensive?

I heard Bella's closed. It was very good.

I took a client out to lunch and that is where she likes to eat.
