Here's the deal, I want to:

1) Get on the Creek extension by NSU / 101st
2) Go North to the Muskogee Turnpike  ~2.1 miles
3) Go west, merge off Muskogee Turnpike onto 51 ~1.8 miles

Basically this:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Unknown+road&daddr=36.054234,-95.759797&geocode=FTSVJQId5hBL-g%3B&hl=en&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=15&sll=36.054269,-95.759196&sspn=0.02557,0.030556&ie=UTF8&ll=36.048683,-95.74821&spn=0.025572,0.030556&t=h&z=15

Now according to http://www.pikepass.com/ 's Calculator:

Creek 101st to Muskogee Turnpike is $0.25, meh, I guess I could deal w/ that charge.

What I don't understand is using the Muskogee clover leaf and driving on it for less than 2 miles is friggen $0.95!  :o

Is that right? Being charged $1.20 for being on a toll roads for less than 4 miles?!?

If so I guess the route linked below is what I'll take, cause well... it's FREE, although you do have to deal with a few more lights, the worst one being the one by the QT before 51 turns into the BA expressway.

I guess thanks for listening to my rant :)

If you ever drive the turnpikes in Dallas, you'll have a nervous breakdown. It's often a dollar for each couple of miles. And I mean to say that there is a toll booth every two miles, so you have to keep stopping and paying. It's frustrating...but so much faster. Yet another reason to hate driving in big D.

If you are in fact paying the 95 cents or whatever, it's because you're paying for the whole section from coweta to muskogee.

You probably won't be, though. If you prefer, you can just pay 30c cash to get on the creek. It's not like there's a toll booth on the cloverleaf, just tag readers.

I can't remember if there's a tag reader at the creek underpass on the muskogee. If there isn't, they probably just don't have a way to bill that segment separately, despite there being a reader on the cloverleaf.

I don't think I've ever taken that particular exit, or I'd go back through my pikepass statements and look it up for you.

Edited to add: There's nothing on the website that makes me think that you'd be paying. Your entry point is the creek turnpike, not coweta, which is 13 miles down the road.

Edited again to add: Yes, the calculator indicates that the creek turnpike and tulsa toll points are one andthe same, so if you exit the creek going westbound you shouldn't be paying any toll, pikepass or no. Makes sense, since you're actually only on the turnpike for a few hundred feet.
