Senator Invites Breast Cancer Survivors to Capitol Event

April 21, 2009 has been designated as "Breast Cancer Awareness Day at the Capitol", and breast cancer support groups, organizations, clinics and programs are invited to take part.  The displays of these organizations will fill the fourth floor rotunda as they unite to show Oklahomans are doing whatever possible to help their sisters and brothers who face this disease.
In an effort to make breast cancer "personal" for our state senators and representatives, Tulsa Senator Judy Eason McIntyre is looking to recruit at least two individuals from every legislative district in the state who have breast cancer or are survivors to come to the Capitol on April 21st, meet their representatives, and put a "face" to the disease.

Senator McIntyre has appointed Judi Grove, Founder of Breast Impressions, Inc. to chair this event.
If you are a breast cancer survivor or part of a support group, clinic, program or organization who would like to take part in this important day, please contact Judi Grove at 918-691-3874, or email her at breastimpressions@cox.net.
