So strange.  Don't really understand where that all comes from, except from the Shelbyville/Springfield mentality.

Quite unfortunately, IMO, the current mayor and staff want to act like the Branson Landing folks never approached the city with their plans for the West Bank.  The Branson Landing folks were shewed away and thrown out like trash when, again IMO, THERE IS NO ONE ELSE WITH THE RESOURCES OR EXPERIENCE OR MONEY OR IDEAS that has approached the city with West Bank development plans.  Why does the city continue to ignore those folks?

So, if the MLS story you have heard has any connection with Branson Landing you might as well forget it, the Mayor et al have no interest in dealing with those guys, it seems.

Agreed.  Think they did the same thing to Tim Kissler and Global Development Partners in that whole East End/East Village versus WalMart fiasco...

Fun with timelines.... http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showpost.php?p=17254732&postcount=86
