I went to the first meeting of this task force.  I felt that they genuinely want to solve some problems that have been creating friction between neighborhoods and developers for years.

Also, the impact of lighting on the surrounding properties should be minimized.  (Patric, did you hear that?  Perhaps now would be a good time to talk to some folks on this task force.)

Well, I apparently missed reading that the first time around, but did notice the powerpoint presentation is using a similar method to calculate setbacks that one would use when planning outdoor lighting.
I didnt see lighting mentioned in the committee's recommendations, though.

Double A

I am glad to see this Committee address the issue of uniform enforcement, instead of the selective enforcement or loose intrepretations of the comprehensive plan in regards to INCOG staff reccomendations. Too bad they stopped short of reccomending we get rid of INCOG. A comprehensive review of INCOG's contract, policies and procedures is a step in the right direction, though. Let's just hope it's not election year half stepping.
