Configure Google News?

I use Google News as my homepage and I'm wondering if there's any way to configure it to exclude certain stories.  I really don't want to read more stories about various dead celebrities.  The space can be better utilized.

I thought I'd ask here since you're all people who know stuff.  But I've put in a query to Google also.

I don't know about being able to limit certain news, but Google has their own home page, which you can customize to your own satisfaction with Google gadgets.  iGoogle is their home page and the one I use.  1000's of gadgets to choose from and move into any position you want.  Pretty cool.
