W T F  does the conservative agenda have to do with mayor? Do they want to further hinder Tulsa by implementing some sort of faith based government. Do unto others as you would have others do unto you....

8 area GOP leaders endorse Bartlett
One says the mayoral candidate is a "voice of reason" amid the 11 party hopefuls.

"Simonson said: "You can't accomplish conservative objectives if you don't win elections. Dewey Bartlett can because his lifetime of service and experience makes him a leader whom Tulsans can trust."

Simonson is a doofus.

"Dewey Bartlett has a solid reputation in Tulsa that has been proven through years of service and through demonstrating integrity," Hiett said. "

Not according to his own immediate family. Get your facts straight you goofs.

They'll make Dewey out to be Screwy.

Dewey, Jr. is a RINO:  A Republican in Name Only.

He endorsed Mayor Kathy Taylor, a Democrat.

Twice.

Vote for Medlock, an authentic Conservative for Mayor.

Medlock is almost as much of a doosh as Martinson....I know Conan sure doesn't like him.

Streetman ignored my plea to address this issue of mixing "faith based" with the mayors office saying, "I'm a republican." This mornings article in Whirled seems to take the view this is an issue especially with "party guy" Medschlock. Anna Falling is a douchebagger too.

Two party system? Would someone answer FOTD's question of where this fits in a local election. Could it be for fund raising purposes?

Whatever the purpose, with all this investment into infrastructure by the taxpayer, do these "folks" have the right to make Tulsa unattractive?

You could vote for that crazy lady who feels that a creationism exhibit at the Tulsa Zoo is of utmost importance.

I talked to a very active local Democrat over dinner last night who seems to think Anna Falling will really rally the fundies and could throw a wrench in the GOP primary.  I'm not seeing it, there again I don't go to church at Victory, Grace, etc. so I might be way ignorant on any influence she would have.  All I can say about my impression of Ms. Falling is if you thought Mayor Taylor was abrasive, just wait.  It's like putting 60 grit sand paper in the sander after using 220.

It's no secret I support Tom Adelson for mayor, but I'm still registered as a GOP, so I will likely vote for a candidate that would present little trouble for Tom in the general.

I too think city elections should be non-partisan.  I'm finally catching on after all these years, when a candidate labels themself a "conservative" they just want my vote.  The reality after they get into office seems to be the opposite with a few rare exceptions.

FOTD, I thought you were for Dewey when he first announced, did I get that wrong?

I'm fairly certain that the only monkey wrench was thrown into Chris Medlock. He already faced long odds of winning the primary even without Falling in there. But she'll peel away a fair number of votes.

I reckon that Dewey will attract a substantial number of mainstream GOP voters, and he will cruise to a relatively easy win in the primary.

But let's put it this way ... if Falling wins the primary, it's hello, Mayor Adelson.

Hmmm, I assumed that Mudschlock would have the fundies wrapped up since he had a more public persona with his *cough* radio career.

You might have a good point, RW.  I'm anxious to see how it shakes out.

I call on all Judeo-Christian® Warriors to WAGE WAR against those who wish to DISHONOR GOD® by allowing rampant "Science" to be taught at the zoo!
This, MY FRIENDS, is the most important issue facing our JUDEO-CHRISTIAN® Mid-Sized City!!!

I am the real Authentic Conservative® all others are false prophets!!!

Surely you are not saying that a JUDEO-CHRISTIAN® ideology has no place within the leadership of a mid-sized City?

You got that totally wrong. Dewey would be an arrogant idiot. Even his family knows this.

Tom might be the lessor of....

Well, we know he will not make Tulsa look like a three wing circus.

My bad.  I thought you said something like "Go Dewey" on one of the threads as if you supported him before Adelson jumped in.
