It would be political suicide in district 8 to not sign some kind of agreement.  I would like to see the modifications.

sgrizzle

I think we all modified it because the letter they were asking us to sign was 4 years old and had some old data and vague wording.

Red Arrow

Standard political stuff:

Candidate signs letter of agreement!

(Modifications included.)

I too am against the bridge as it is currently proposed.

It would interefer with my business idea to start a ferry boat (with gambling tables and a restaurant on board) at that exact location on the river.
Power is nothing till you use it.

Get that part of the river declared to be navigable and the bridge would need to clear your "ferry" boat(s).  Do you think your passengers would really want to get off on the other side of the river?    Would you need the support of the Creek Nation to operate in their territory.  How would they feel about you operating in direct competition with their Casino and potential toll bridge.   I hope the boats are pretty shallow draft as that is below the last planned dam at Jenks.  Don't expect the support of the folks from Bixby, Jenks, and Glenpool for stopping "their" bridge.  Would you provide  space on-board for mass transit vehicles?

I think you are trying to pull our legs.   ;D
