Does anybody know the origins of this building at 14th and Cheyenne?

It's located a block north of this bulding at 15th and Carson.

The building at 14th & Cheyenne has recently been purchased by one of the developers working in the 'NoChe' district. Their history has been to mix the old with the new. Hopefully this building will be developed from within.

I know there are Riverview residents that post to TulsaNow. Has anybody heard of potential use of the building. I know it's not protected by the Riverview Historic District. But according to Riverview Master Plan, page 51, the area is designated as 'Proposed Multi-Family Housing' and the map does not look like it includes the existing building.

The developer also owns some property along Cheyenne between 14th and 15th. And according to the Riverview Neighborhood Assoc. [RVNA] March, 2008 MEETING MINUTES

New Business:
New development on Cheyenne from 14th to 15th will be 20 condos on 4.5 lots, 3 stories tall. We will post the drawings on our website when received. RVNA requested screening.

It appears development is in the near future. Makes it sound like existing structures would be razed along Cheyenne.

Thanks for the redirection. So it was the Old Temple Israel Synagogue. Reading through the thread was incouraging. Sounds like it will be put to reuse. And the info on the condo development was also good.

TulsaNow has such a wealth of development info on it. If I'd just dug a little deeper, maybe I would of answered my own questions. Anyway, maybe this thread will spur some updates to the Mar08 thread about the condo development?

Any update/renderings regarding the condos proposed for Cheyenne?  I'd love to see more developments like the one at 1516 Carson.

Looks like an exciting development: actually turning an unused parking lot into lofts.
