DRILLERS WIN AGAIN AT ONEOK
Nearly 5,000 School Children Watch 8-2 Win

After a slow start, the Tulsa Drillers may be getting comfortable in ONEOK Field.  Wednesday morning, in front of several thousand school kids, the Drillers defeated the Arkansas Travelers 8-4 for their third straight win at the new downtown park.  Tulsa overcame a 4-1 deficit with five runs in the bottom of the fourth to post the victory before a paid attendance of 8,421, the second largest crowd ever at ONEOK Field.

It's deafening at hockey games when they have school day or school night.  I can handle the loud volume of adults, which are very prevalent at regular hockey games, but the screeching during these games!  Wow!

Baseball and kids just mix well. Within minutes, even kids at their first game realize that you can stomp your feet and cheer as loud as you want sometimes.

Every child in that audience today thinks that downtown is now cool as well. This field is changing a generation of fans into a future crowd of Tulsans.
