Looks like Hoffa's speech was successful.  They are ready to fight.

LONGVIEW, Wash. (AP) — Hundreds of Longshoremen stormed the Port of Longview early Thursday, overpowered and held security guards, damaged railroad cars, and dumped grain that is the center of a labor dispute, said Longview Police Chief Jim Duscha.

Six guards were held hostage for a couple of hours after 500 or more Longshoremen broke down gates about 4:30 a.m. and smashed windows in the guard shack, he said.

One sergeant was threatened with baseball bats and retreated, Duscha said. "One officer with hundreds of Longshoremen? He used the better part of discretion."

The train was the first grain shipment to arrive at Longview. It arrived Wednesday night after police arrested 19 demonstrators who tried to block the tracks. They were led by ILWU International President Robert McEllrath, who said they would return.

The blockade appeared to defy a federal restraining order issued last week against the union after it was accused of assaults and death threats.

Stop right there...this story continues to show how FOX news commits and supports violence.

Anybody who saw the entire portion of Hoffa's Labor Day speech understands what was said. But those sheep who stare at FOX's delusional out of context footage might really be led to believe this was a violent proposal by Hoffa. It was not. Sons of bitches.....

Wow, so their thuggery isn't limited to non-union workers.  They are mad another union got the gig, so they resort to vandalism and theft, like cutting brake lines and spilling grain.  Nice.

This started in the news yesterday, as reports of truckers showing up at the docks to unload outbound freight were refused entrance to the docks.  The bigger argument is that the longshoremen have, owned all of the jobs for years at the docks, and now a business refuse to use their union, opting for a different one. The longshoremen are mad because they no longer have a monopoly on who gets hired, so they have resorted to thug tactics. 5 will get you 10 that there is no mention by the prez.
