Pavarotti to perform at Mabee

Tulsa - Acclaimed opera singer Luciano Pavarotti will open the U.S. portion of his farwell tour at Tulsa's Mabee Center on September 17th.

This will be the second time Pavarotti has performed in Tulsa.

In 1981, he gave a recital concert at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center to benefit the Tulsa Opera.

A special stage will be built for the performance at the Mabee Center, which will be configured into a 9-thousand seat concert space.
