After 30 years the PHBA world show 2013 moved from Tulsa

After 30 years the PHBA world horse show is moving out of Tulsa and Oklahoma...headed to Tunica Area and Expo center in Mississippi....wonder what caused this shake up..that was a two week event that brought alot of moolah to Tulsa...guess no news coverage on it yet...wonder what the chamber wonder boys have to say about this...

Why are we moving?"

                        There are 2 main reasons for the move.

1.    The first one was the fact that we could no longer secure dates that did not interfere with affiliate shows.

2.    The second reason was a financial one.  This facility's rental is much less than Expo Center and there are no additional costs to us.  We are also able to keep money from the RV Park, as well as the stall money.  Before this, that revenue was not available to us.

         

"Why Tunica?"

1.    Tunica offered us a better contract than anyone else.

2.     Their facility is beautiful and very much fits out needs.

3.     It offers us many extras as well.  It is a complete "turn key" contract for PHBA.

4.     It was the only facility to give us the dates we wanted on a 3-yr. contract without raising the original price of the facility.
