Whatever happened to this? The Synagogue is still a burned out hulk. Anyone know what happened to Kevin Stevenson and Land Legacy on this site?

Here is the old topic: http://www.tulsanow.org/forum/index.php?topic=9200.0

I would be very shocked if this ever gets off the ground. Kevin Stephens last project isn't selling very well on Cherry Street, last time I checked all three were still for sell, that was about 1-2 months ago. Hopefully once those are done then maybe he'll move on this project, but as with most developers I'm sure he's more concerned about projects that will actually make him money, and then just talk about projects like this for good PR

I would think that there would be enough interest from our local Jewish community to have pushed this along much faster.  I was hoping for a Jewish community center or something like that.

FYI, this building has sold to a local developer and is being converted into a single family Dweling.

Didn't see that coming.  Any noticeable progress?

Yes. The debris has been removed from the inside, the metals all collected and sent to salvage. Grass is mowed finally. The construction is going to take a long time since they will have to build inside and attach to the brick structure treating it like a facade.

As a house this thing will be huge, I'm guessing three stories plus roof top.
