Now, now... forcing these industries to pay for disposal of their industrial waste (instead of selling it to municipalities) would be anti-job growth.

HealthRanger is putting a lot of stock on the idea that since the stuff is transported as Hazmat, that makes it unsuitable for use....well, so is citric acid - I have hauled several loads of that in the past, and it requires hazmat placards.  As does phosporic acid (think Coca-Cola), which he mentions.  Yep, fluoride overdosing is bad.  Underdosing was worse.  So, what we need is a measured, balanced approach.

It IS a nice story - it has been proven for many decades to actually reduce dental caries - an infectious disease that manifests as cavities.  I suspect we are past the point of needing it in drinking water, but how do ya stop a train when it has started down those particular tracks?  (We have stopped vaccinating for smallpox, after all...   which I think was insane.)

Oh, and it was just SO cool how he was able to work the phrase "inconvenient truth" into the film!!  Yay, team!!

I don't share my thoughts because I think it will change the minds of people who think differently.  I share my thoughts to show the people who already think like me that they are not alone.

I normally just drink sodas. I'm not much of a water drinker.

That starts to explain some things....

Fluoride reacting with the aluminum can in the presence of phosporic acid with a BPA liner thrown in for seasoning...instant Alzheimer's laboratory....
