FYI, between yesterday and today, they moved east and west-bound traffic from the old north alignment of I-44 under the Lewis bridge to the south under what will eventually be the east-bound alignment under the new bridge structure which is being built now.  I would assume now this is complete, they will tear down the original bridge and complete the westbound lanes and install the northern half of what will be the Lewis overpass.  Nice fresh concrete!

They had eastbound traffic on the new alignment last night when we were coming in from OKC, and they moved the westbound traffic at some point between morning rush & lunch today.

That explains the backup this morning.  Tried to get on at Harvard and decided no...too much westbound traffic.   Took city streets and got to see some parts of town hadn't seen for a while.... 61st and Peoria...looking pretty ragged...

FIFY.

Hop on at Yale next time.  The Harvard merge did look a bit busy this morning.  Anyone know what fast food is being built north of I-44 on the west side of Harvard?  Looks like Jack-In-The-Box, but they already have a location a mile east on Yale.

Yeah...it was one of those rare moments that I was trying to be kind...30 years is about right.

I wanted to take the scenic route anyway - haven't been through that area for a while, so what better excuse to visit a little.

I believe it's a quik trip they are building. At least they are building one at that intersection.

If it's I-44 & Harvard, to the NW of the expressway, the structure is too small to be a QT
