PUBLIC LISTENING SESSION
July 26, 2005, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Hardesty Regional Library
8316 E. 93rd St. Tulsa, OK 74133

BACKGROUND:  The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) will conduct an open public meeting to receive your comments on the transportation planning process in the Tulsa metropolitan area.

This open public meeting is part of a review that will assess compliance with Federal regulations pertaining to the transportation planning process as conducted by the Indian Nations Council of Governments (INCOG), the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the Metropolitan Tulsa Transit Authority, and local units of government within the Tulsa metropolitan area.

As the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Tulsa TMA, INCOG is responsible for coordinating regional long and short-range transportation planning for street and highway improvements, public transportation, goods movement, and bicycle/pedestrian travel in the region.

PURPOSE OF LISTENING SESSION:  The federal agencies involved in funding the regional transportation program would like to hear how you—the residents of this region—view the transportation planning process and opportunities for your involvement in the Tulsa area.  Your comments are an integral part of the certification process.

OPPORTUNITIES:  During the meeting you may provide verbal comments to the review team.  However, if you are not able to attend the meeting, you may address your comments to either:
