TAT Technologies is moving some major operations to Tulsa, bringing in 300 jobs. They already own Limco Airepair and will be expanding it - although looking at that property I wonder if that will be possible at the current location. They are tucked away behind the Pepsi plant at the moment.

This is a huge win for Tulsa. Hundreds of new aerospace jobs makes us even more of an aerospace hub, not to mention that we needed more higher paying jobs anyway. It's great to see a company choose us as their base of operations.

Nice to see some higher paying jobs to offset our constant love affair with low wage Amazon jobs.

Anything mention what the salaries would be on these jobs? Sounds like it's 300 new jobs right? That 300 doesn't include the Limco jobs that are already here (not sure how big they are either)?

Interesting article too given the Israel connection: https://www.israel21c.org/the-surprising-us-city-where-israeli-tech-is-heading-next/

Did anyone see Bynum's Facebook post on Amazon? LOL. He got roasted over it. Somehow he thinks the reason why we got all those warehouses is because we submitted a proposal for the HQ with just about every other city. We somehow got on their radar that way to be able to get those amazing economic development opportunities - not that Amazon needs those facilities to actual run their business or anything like that.. nah or that they are doing the exact same thing in every other major market in the US.

As Amazon continues to grow every city with notable population will have these facilities, to help them get products to consumers faster. There's nothing special about a city with 1M people to have an Amazon facility. There is nothing special about it, and the jobs aren't exactly high paying.

TAT has nothing to do with Amazon, it's an aviation technologies company.
